Brief Biography

After graduating from Tianjin Nankai High School (2008), Wei Wei entered Shanghai Jiao Tong University with high marks and received his Bachelor of engineering degree in electronic science and technology from Department of Electronic Engineering (2012). He is now pursuing his master degree in information and communication engineering under associate professor Lilin Yi in Future Ready Optical Network Technology Research Group (FRONT), State Key Lab of Advanced optical communication systems and networks. He received his master degree in engineering in Mar. 2015 and continue his study for a Ph.D.
His main research field is optical signal processing based on stimulated Brillouin scattering. He has already done some work in Brillouin filter generation, filter shaping and applications in coherent OFDM systems, etc. Besides, he also has basic skills in digital circuit design and implementation.
